A Chicago Eatery
WiseGuys reputation is built on serving only the highest quality foods in a unique environment that screams Chicago yet is locally friendly and familiar. If you are looking for authentic Chicago style Italian Beef, Combo Beef & Sausage, Maxwell Street Polish Sausage, Chicago Dogs or Pizza Puffs, this will no doubt become your second home.
WiseGuys sets the mood with an ambiance that reflects the topsy turvy world of Chicago during the prohibition era. A time of Bath tub Gin, Speakeasy's, Hooch & Giggle Water. A time when gangsters like Al Capone audaciously seized control of the streets. The background music reflects this period of the roaring 20s evolving into the Rat Pack generation.
At WiseGuys, there is something for everybody. Hot Dogs, Burgers, Gyros, Wraps, Salads and our biggest seller - Cheesesteaks! WiseGuys offers many sides but our hand cut Idaho number 1 fries are second to none. In addition, all sandwiches can be transformed into spinach wraps or served on a bed of lettuce as low carb options.
Being born and Raised in Chicago, when i found out about WiseGuys I had very High Expectations! My Beef was Amazing! The staff were extremely friendly and the bonus was I received a 10% off discount with my Illinois License. The food was so good and reminded me of being back home. I highly recommend this restaurant to Any and everyone looking for a taste of Home!

live in Houston and we had family come in town from New Hampshire and we stayed in New Braunfels with family. While visiting we stopped at Wise Guys for lunch one day and it was so good. We really enjoyed the food so much. I've even talked about driving out that way for a day just to eat there with some friends. You really need to stop by and get some food here. And the customer service was really great too!

OMG!! Food coma!! I was born and raised in Chicago. Lived there for 31 years. I was feeling a bit homesick since I had to cancel my trip back up north. Saw this place when looking for a pizza place. Chicago style places like this are always hit or miss. But this was definitely a hit. We split an Italian beef and a 12 inch pizza. And we brought half a pizza home. The Italian beef was spot on. With sweet peppers and giardiniera. Next time I'll ask them to dip mine a bit more. And the pizza was dead on Chicago style thin crust. Nice and crispy. And they do a pub cut!!(cut in squares). They pile on the toppings! We got sausage, red onions, and mushrooms. They use fresh mushrooms and not the canned stuff. It was just a really good taste of Chicago. We will definitely be going back.
